HI
i have the following setup:
CABLE MODEM -> Connected to Wirless Router via RJ45
ROUTER CONFIG:
WIRELESS ROUTER has WAN interface
WIRELESS ROUTER has LAN interface -> 192.168.1.1
IP COP CONFIG:
IP COP (VWMARE install) RED -> 192.168.1.2
IP COP (VWMARE install) GREEN -> 192.168.0.1
IP COP DNS SETTINGs 192.168.0.1
IP COP Default Gateway 192.168.1.1
CLIENTS:
ALL ON 192.168.0.X
ALL HAVE DEFAULT GATEWAY 192.168.0.1
ALL HAVE DNS 192.168.0.1
NO PROXYING
Now on the windows client pcs, mostly it is ok, but intermittently throughout the day DNS lookups will just start failing, ie when I type nslookup i get a timeout.
On the unix based clients, DNS lookups consistently fail.
Any ideas why?
