cannot...there are no destination MAC address found in host MAC Address table & router 1 MAC address table.

There is only one rule in replying to arp packets. The rule is "if you are the destination reply".
So in this example would 196.168.0.6 be able to reply to the arp request?

Your right it can't find it but what I want you to realize is:
The rule is "if you are the destination reply".
Not
"if you are a router on the network who happens to have the mac address reply"
My point is this if the host doesn't already have the mac address mapped it needs to arp and the only one who is going to respond is the destination. Because the destination is not on the same lan and therefore cannot reply it will cause a destination unreachable.

how to describe the fa 0/0/0 scenario? It is different with the gi 0/0 and 0/1 is it?
