Nice thread. Here is what I have. It was never intended to grow like that. For some reason I kept buying.

LOL

On some other article about Scott Morris, he said something similar. He said something along the lines of "after about X amount of equipment, the lab took a life of its own." I guess labs really do.

Mine is starting to. I worked on the patching scheme in visio last night. Wow, is all I can say. When I get it to a point, I'll start posting pictures and the visio drawing so you guys can take a look at it.. Maybe you guys have a few different options I can go. I do know I need to buy a few items for my 3640 router to turn it into a voice gateway / Call Manager Express.

Wait.... there are five of them.... so one more to go!!. God, is he married? I mean did he have kinds?

It's funny you mention this, because he is currently studying for his CCIE Voice. So it will soon be 5!! He is also married and has 2 kids I believe.

I found the story which is called "The Story Behind the Resume of Scott Morris" It is a bit of a read, but a rather good one. If you need some inspiration or simply are just curious about his resume, you should definitely read this story. If you haven't seen his resume, take a peak at it too. IIt is quite impressive. I love reading stories and seeing people like this, because it only inspires me more!!

People how then can i post mine after seeing what you guys got here and Scott's lab? I shiver but won't stagger.

His setup and the likes of my people here inspires me to look ahead and em stay focused.

Well my lab is growing and growing everyday. Will post specs ASAP:) i think some months back i had a jpeg file of Zippy's. It's tight. Zippy was the first inspiration i got on building a lab.

Cheers

Never be ashamed of how little or large your lab is or might be.. My lab is just a product of my lust of knowledge and drive of working consistently around Cisco equipment… Before this summer started I only had three routers and two switches. I’ve been blest with the extra equipment falling into my lap as they did. I’m taking it as a higher power showing me that now is the time to get my behind in gear and learn as much as I can to upgrade my job.

I totally agree with Regeth on that statement.

A lab will start slow and grow like a plant you nurture, and before you know it, it will blow up like an atom bomb.

Lab away boys ...lab away!!
