hotfix
for those experiencing problems connecting to a Win2K3 terminal server.

I must say that the last thig that changed on the server before this started was the windows updates on tuesday 12 sept, is the hotfix new, I'll try most of the advice sat becaouse no one is working then, will let you know how far I get, thx again

hey my dude check the domain name to make sure it corresponds with the one on each system if it is workgroup then let them all use workgroup, if it is mshome then they all use mshome. it cant be virus causing. try this and see that its going to work for u. then make sure if u are using the simple sharing permission u check the permissions to make sure u check the read only or as u want it.

After changing the local policy to "access this computer from the network" I, restarted both the DC and the file server and I can access the files, must have been the permissions issue.
