still you are not leaving it. please go through once more topics related to IP addressing. then post reply.
default subnet mask for class A is: 255.0.0.0
default subnet mask for class B is: 255.255.0.0
default subnet mask for class C is: 255.255.255.0
now insted of that you can use any valid subnet mask!
like for class C: you can not use 255.0.0.0 as a subnet mask but for class A you can use 255.255.255.0 as a subnet mask.
so you told earlier that NO. its wrong....
we can use....

feel free to explain in detail to me what your saying. If I'm wrong it means the information provided by the teacher was wrong so...explain what your saying in detail. And explain it as though I don't know what I'm talking about so everyone understands it even myself.

But with VLSM this shouldn't matter because you can make different classes understand each other.
