Internet Explorer Doesn't Close.... Seriously!

Re-installed Internet Explorer, it still doesn't work...

It's windows XP, by the way... :twisted:

Try to scan her computer with Adware or spybot or any spyware program out there...

i agee, same thing happened with two of our workstations at work. try to run adawares to check if it has hijack files. sometimes this causes the program, specifically IE6 to hang when closing the application.

Adaware and Spybot S&D are not catching a couple of the things flying around out there. I have verified this after a system here was in trouble and neither of them detected anything.

Nah, I already tried re-installing IE 6.0 and I've run Spybot -- neither worked. Actually, one thing happened that was very odd.

I re-installed IE and opened it up and then closed it... and it worked! Tried it again... didn't work!

So then I tried running Spybot and tried opening up IE and closing it... and it worked! Tried it again... didn't work!

How weird...? :twisted: :x
