Remote Desktop Services

Having some trouble setting up Remote Desktop Services on Windows Server 2008 R2 Enterprise. I'm hoping someone here can point out something that I am missing. Right now I can only use two RDP sessions.

I have the Remote Desktop Services role installed and running. I also have Remote Desktop Licensing running. Under Role Services I have Remote Desktop Session Host and Remote Desktop Licensing installed.

In RD Licensing Manager I show the server (same server) as Activated. I also have two (5 CAL) licenses installed.

Try going to Server Manager | Roles | Terminal Services. From there, go to Role Services and Select Add Role Services. Make sure you select the Terminal Server Role. Also, add Terminal Services Licensing.

With 2008 these services are now called Remote Desktop * and I do have Session Host and Licensing installed.

Really hoping someone can help out here. I have no idea what is missing...

i am using sbs2008 and it is still called terminal services in the roles section. Do you have 2008 R2?

You can add the terminal services role from the section I specified. Take a look. Hope it helps...

I believe you are right with R2 there is a change in names. Let me see if I can find some documentation for you.
