Remote Desktop Services was created by steveb13
Having some trouble setting up Remote Desktop Services on Windows Server 2008 R2 Enterprise. I'm hoping someone here can point out something that I am missing. Right now I can only use two RDP sessions.
I have the Remote Desktop Services role installed and running. I also have Remote Desktop Licensing running. Under Role Services I have Remote Desktop Session Host and Remote Desktop Licensing installed.
In RD Licensing Manager I show the server (same server) as Activated. I also have two (5 CAL) licenses installed.
Appreciate the help.
BTW - if anyone from Firewall.cx reads this, I cannot post from my old profile (steveb12). I have sent in multiple website feedback requests. If someone could assist with that I'd really appreciate it.

Try going to Server Manager | Roles | Terminal Services. From there, go to Role Services and Select Add Role Services. Make sure you select the Terminal Server Role. Also, add Terminal Services Licensing.

i am using sbs2008 and it is still called terminal services in the roles section. Do you have 2008 R2?
You can add the terminal services role from the section I specified. Take a look. Hope it helps...
