There is only one way to find out. Install it and see. You should be well off using Ubuntu.
I started to use Fedora and they just released a new version a few days ago. I'm not really sure why, but I likeit the best out of the Linux flavors I have tried.

Suse for me too.
I think Suse is better for business educational purposes.. Ubuntu is more focussed on home-office or am I wrong?!

Can't judge on that since I never tried Ubuntu. But with Novel on Suse's back I guess as you said it would attract the business sector since those usually trust the "Big Names" for technical support. Again, just guessing.

I think suse its better for pretty much anything u want to do. home user/bussiness. it really is user friend and for someone that knows little about linux i think suse is one of the best distros you can start with. plus suse its being around for quite sometime now.
