Hi guys!!
Glad you are all enjoying Snow Leopard. Sorry for not posting my experiences earlier but was up to my eyeballs with work.
I also made another upgrade that was worth every penny, changed my HD for one @7200 rpm. It makes a great difference. I don't have benchmark values but my macbook with Snow Leopard and the new HD can handle a lot more!
The things I like best about Snow Leopard so far are:
- The extra space I saved (about 7GB)
- How faster Safari is and how less memory it uses (it can finally handle my 40 tabs)
- When using expose you can even see the windows that are minimised to the dock
- Automatic Time zone setup for when I travel
I still need to try Exchange integration and time machine backups, will let you know how that goes.
Only problem so far is that some plugins (e.g. Glims for safari) and a few tools (e.g. Growl) that I used to use aren't yet compatible, but I'm sure everything will get updated soon.
