Its not coming from he loopback.
i changed the data points and its still the same.
As soon as i join the pcs to my LAN i loose internet connection.
I somehow managed to contain the ADSL time out by allowing limited users.
My ADSL is now up and working. but i still can contain the ARP (90% of total traffiic)

I have seen a couple of times dsl routers (well, not a cisco, but why not! :D) "locking" from their inability to handle the resources the outstanding ammount of requests some worms produce requires. The symptoms are those that you describe, traffic was generated blindly, directed to both public and private (10.x, 192.x) subnets, though not enough to kneel a PC, definetelly noticeable. I don't remember in particular what worms was it that I had encountered, but I recommend that you check every each one of the running processes and google the name of the "suspects" along with the keyword "worm" to make sure. Then shoot the M.F. process till it drops dead in a pool of blood.. :}

Tracing the process might not be that easy since the guilty could hide in another service's name, but it was not in my cases. If you find nothing this way, try using fport :)
