If your modem/router is in bridged mode, you will need to setup your IPCOP to use PPPoE if that is what your ISP uses. Alternatively, you may want to set your modem/router to NAT mode and enter the PPPoE username/password info directly into your modem/router. Then set up a private range on your modem/router's internal interface. Finally, choose a static IP address in that range for your IPCOP RED interface.
