BTW, path ping will do something similar to tracert & ping all in one go (gathering statistics) Smile


so is path ping the command or a program?

Its in Windows XP (maybe 2000 but cannot remember), sorry it should read pathping, if you type it from command prompt.

WIRESHARK = FRIGGIN AWESOME

I found it also easier to use than ethereal with a few more features as well.

Pathping was a cool tool.

I tried it on a Win Xp PRO machine and it wokred fine. I'll test it on a Win2K/NT machine later.

Thnx Smurf ill use it in the future.

Ethereal isn't developed anymore. Wireshark replace it totally! :D
