Can you please guide me more in this coz i am planning to implement all in my networks.

Also advice me in following things

1. Tool for Packet drop in the network
2. delay and Latency finder
3. Which ip belongs to whome and how to send a remote msg
4. How to maintain VLAN
5. Link management.

I hope you will not scold me for this ....

FYI on Wireshark and Ethereal. They are the same product, but Wireshark is the most updated and now the new name. The name changed because the Ethereal Trademark was owned by the creators old company.

Other monitoring tools include: MRTG, Etherape (Unix based), Tibco, Cacti etc.
