Having trouble connecting using the SSH I also issued the
ca save all
found a doc that says to do that

Ok got it going farther now.
I think im getting CLOSE!

Now I connect it askes for a username and password.

So... I made one

Well when I type in the username and password I made it wont let me in. I also made the username have privledge level 15. When I connect to the PIX via https my username and password works...im confused.

Ok so now u can ssh into the box but ur not able to access the same via ur username and password .. in that case give the username as pix and the password whatever u have defined . Incase that does not work then again give the username and the password as cisco... lemme know if it works....

The username and password i created I already tried. I tried it again today to make sure it doesn't work. When i do a sh run its their tho with provledge 15. Tried cisco cisco also no dice. How can the username work for HTTPS acces but not SSH access?
