network Dillema was created by sose
Server is browsing but clients are not. When I restart my systems at different times, problem still persist but when I shutdown all systems including modem, all clients picked

What happenend ?

Sorry, can you provide more details. What Server is it ? What Clients are they ? What do you mean by Browsing (Internet Browsing or Network Browsing) ?

you have said when you restart everything including your modem, everything starts to work. presumming the modem is the link between your server and your clients, check your modem.

Actually , my set up is an internet cafe with a server connecting 10 other clients . Sometimes server is browsing and other clients are not. when I restart the clients , nothing happen,when I restart the server alone nothing also happen but when I shutdown every host in the cafe for like one minute every thing starts browsing .

hi,
when every client stops browsing next time do the following :
1) find the individual IP addresses of each of the ten clients
2) try and ping the server from each client, and check the RTT

how are the clients connected to this server? is your server the gateway for all your clients or does it connect to the internet using a modem of some kind? what kind of internet connection do you have? what kind of modem are you using?
