Well you can keep us up to date with the problem!
Its the usual approach with other vendors/company, they get you to rebuild your network in order to accept they have a problem
I just hope your network isn't a large one
Cheers,

If you think about it, it would seem more logical to think that Etherchannel would only work if spanning tree were disabled - because in reality by using it you are creating loops between the switches. Obviously cisco treats port channels differently which is why they aren't effected by spanning tree (unless you misconfigure them of course).

Thanks Jeremy
So I guess that means that an Etherchannel will still work correctly even if spanning tree is completely disabled?

We had to disable STP on a port today, using the no spanning-tree bpdufilter line, which got us by.
Is there a way to "fully" disable STP per port?
