Is Anyone intrested in Novell Netware?

I was running a Novell NetWare 5.1 server for a while, but its now offline as I have migrated to Linux.

Unfortunately, because the market has moved away from the NetWare operating system, I decided it would be best to focus my efforts on a more widely used operating system, hence the migration to Linux.

In the good old days, I had upto 3 Novell NetWare servers running at home, one of them, had an uptime of 381 days !!!!! I even have the screen shot saved from rconsole cause not many people would believe me !

I'm hoping that Novell is going to gain some ground again with its decision to join its NDS with the Linux operating system.

Are you currently running any Novell server ?

Hey , yes i run Novell , i use version 6
i has always running Novell
running 3 server

1 File server
1 Dns/Dhcp server
1 Gateway to internet

I assume you mean you run all three on one box... right?

No i run it on separate servers
just for fun ,
they are in the same tree
is there anyone running novell here or has everybody migrate to linux and windows?

I still have my NetWare 5.1 hdd somewhere .... I might fire it up someday...

Funny enough, my Tree was called "Firewall"
