In a recent meeting, a client has indicated that they are interested in setting up scanning to their Novell servers from a series of multi-function printer/scanners they purchased from my company. To the best of my knowledge, I don't believe Novell is capable of performing SMB operations, which is the only scanning solution the customer will accept.
Am I right in this, or are there ways of making a Novell server accept SMB scan jobs?
I believe they are running NetWare 5.1 on the server in question. Any advice would be appreciated.
