What does you think about the File sharing speed of Novell against Windows NT/2000/2003??

When I got my hands on Novell 6 and tried the new iFolder's it supports, I found it quite frustrating trying to set it up the way i wanted.

In the benchmarks I performed back then (we are talking around 1 1/5 years ago) it seemed like Linux was the fastest out of the lot !

Mattias, do you use the Novell file server as a proper file server or is its very purpose of existence just for you to muck around with ?

hey , what do you mean about real file server??

i have installed netware 6 , and transfer files and things, ftp and so on
And it is faster than 2000 if i install that on the same machine

Back then, it was a Novell 5.1 server with Border Manager 3.5. I had set the server up as our company's firewall and webserver and decided to host the site there for a while
