I need help one our new webserver... we will be creating our new webserver few weeks from now...
can you give me suggestions on how to create a hack free webserver, OS that I could run it.. anything that would help us develop a good webserver.. am totally a newbie at these, but i really want to learn these thigs. thanks for the help... hope to hear from you guys...God Bless

There is no such thing as 'hack free' but you can make it real hard!
Can you offer any info? Such as:
i) What OS are you planning on using?
ii) Hardware configurations you have for your server(s)?
iii) How many servers are you planning on running?
iv) What kind of services are you planning on implementing besides WWW? Mail? FTP? Etc…
v) Do you have static or dynamic IP’s?
vi) How many IP’s do you have?
vii) Are we playing with DMZ or not?
I think you get the picture. Just like building a house, we need to look at or project lists then start building from the foundation up.
I cannot promise a complete hand hold on this, you may find yourself doing a lot of reading!
