Hey Guys,
I have a windows xp pro corp OS on a my gateway pc and i have a laptop using win200. I want to remotely connect from my xp to my win200 pc and install applications. I just need help setting up the connections.

Since you are using the one machine as a gateway, I presume the IP settings of both PCs are correctly configured and they see each other. So all you have to do is use a Remote Administration Tool like
VNC Personal edition
. It is pretty straightforward to set it up, you just install it on both machines and execute the server program (a shortcut to it will appear at the start menu) on the pc that you wish to control. On the other machine, you execute the client and just provide the IP address or hostname of the other PC where the server runs. Windows come wth a similar tool, Remote Desktop, however personally I'd choose VNC.
