NT4 Roaming Profile not being saved

Hi,
I have a problem with some nt4 machines not being able to read or save their profile to the Windows 2003 file server (windows 2000 and xp clients are ok) This has happend since we moved the file server to a new server.

I have checked the permissions on the profile shares located on the file server and they are ok, I cant understand why the nt4 clients will not read or save their roaming profiles! any ideas?

The most likely problem is that you are running your Windows 2003 server in "native" mode. If that is the case, even though your NT4 machines can log in, they will have no access to Active Directory. You will need to install the AD client on your NT4 machines. ( www.microsoft.com/ntworkstation/downloads/Other/adclient.asp )
