I/O Error was created by Lindows
Hello all,

I have a MGI KM4AM-V mother board with a AMD Atholon 2800 processor. I used the boards setover clock feature and windows boots up fine. When i try to burn a dvd movie, using my external iomega dvd burner to burn my dvd files. I get I/O error halfway through the process.

Does anyone know of a solution?

What does the "boards setover clock feature" have anything to do with burning a DVD movie or files? Does Windows not boot properly when you don't use the board's setover clock feature? What is the I/O error that you got? Is the device driver for the DVD burner installed correctly? Can the DVD burner burn anything else? Are there conflicts in your system that involve the DVD burner? Is the device driver up-to-date?

Those could be the possible problems, hehe, if all else fails

Hello All,

i finally got the my external matrox dvd burner to encode and burn a movie. The problem was i didn't have enough memory. I also had to tweak dvd shrinks I/O options.
