Windows 2000 Server - Odd Multicast traffic! was created by Ranger24
Hi,
Firstly I apologise if the answer to this is obvious but I am rather new to this.
I have a Win2K Server acting as a multicast server. This is connected to a cisco router and then on a DSLAM, allowing all connected clients to recieve multicast streams.
Or it did do until the server was upgraded to "Windows 2000 Server" Now the cisco router drops all the multicast packets at the interface. If I use an older server (With windows 2000, not the server edition) it works fine.
Has anyone else seen this before? Any suggested solutions (apart fron dump windows for unix - not an option!)
Thanks
Pete
