Thanks for the response on the time problem, i set the server to use ints internal clock. But my client systems all disconnect from the server (win server 2000) after a period of idleness. I tried checking the maximum idle time property and set it to never disconnect but i still have the problem. please what is the problem. This is the verror message i got from one of the client systems:
The Security System detected an attempted downgrade attack for server cifs/System5. The failure code from authentication protocol Kerberos was "There are currently no logon servers available to service the logon request.
(0xc000005e)".
ideas?
