Master Browser Election

hi to all
would it be possible that Internet activity (say access to certain URLs) would ceased (or rather unable to query theses sites via DNS) if a force master browser election took place? Would it have something to do with one machine forcing itself to be the master browser or would it be something else? your inputs would be highly appreciated. Thank you.
--Just because a machines Forces Election, does not automatically mean it becomes the Master Browser. *Election Version* and *Election Criteria* determines who becomes the Master Browser.
In a Domain Environment, DC is always the Master Browser.
I'm not sure if I understood what you meant by Internet activity cease or unable to query sites via DNS? Can you expand on it?

what i meant was that whenever two PCs vie for the Master Browser and say that in a DC environment the DC suddenly went offlinefor a short period of time and one competing for Master browser suddenly becomes elected does this scenario affect Internet activity. Say the DC is also the gateway to the internet (proxy) and suddenly demoted of being master browser. Would this affect the way clients access the internet. say that internet access becomes unavailable all of a sudden or certain sites are not accessible. well to make the story short does the issue on Master Browser electivity has something to do with quering the internet (for example accessing sites and the like). thanks
--If the DC goes offline, this Forces election and the PC with the Highest Value of *Election Version* wins regardless of *Election Criteria*. If *Election Version* values are the same, they compare the *Elcetion Criteria* and etc until a Master Browser is elected.
As soon as the DC comes online, it sends a Server Announcement to the Current Master Browser and demotes itself and Forces Election.
If the DC is the Default Gateway, and goes offline, the clients will NOT be able to talk with any clients outside its Subnet or Internet as the client machines don't know where to send the packets.
