Outlook problem was created by laurie
Hi, one of our staff keeps getting "Can not access archive files" when he tries to look at them, but everyone else can. He is connected to the LAN and has internet access and all that. Any idea of what the problem may be?

Right, okay, don't worry about the above. Now I want to know about something that I really should know, but don't.
How you configure a Mail Server for Outlook in a LAN. I am more concerned about the physical cabling, but any other information you can give would be much appriciated.
Thanks

hmmm...i don't really understand what you're trying to say here but if you are concerned in how to cable hosts to form a lan that is very simple. you could make a google search for it. also you could try and take a look at the articles on this site. they are really neatly done with illustrations and all to help its visiotrs understand them easily. Now if youre trying to make an email server using Exchange Server you could also visit a site called
www.msexchange.org
for the details on how to do it.
if the above paragraph don't fit your desired answers please elaborate more on what exactly you're planning to do. hope that this helps.

Laurie,
Shouting can indeed sometimes make things work for you
I read your question about configuring a mail server for outlook, but I am somewhat confused about what exactly you need to know.
You initially ask how to configure a mail server and then refer to the cabling part ... Can you be more precise so we can provide the answer you require ?
Cheers,
