" Run as " in Win NT was created by networkknaz
Hi All,
My problem is if any of my user logged a call for installing something if they dont have admin rights i use to kill the explorer.exe process and use " run as " option then login as a administrator and i will do installation .
but the same way i want to do in Win NT however i hope there is no "Run as " option in NT .
Is there any other Option that i can login as Admin with out log off
user account .
Onsite i can do logg off user account and login as Admin but
I am in to Remote Support so i want to do Remotly this .
Ping

From memory, there is a neat utility in Windows NT that might be the answer to your problem.
The filename is "su.exe" and if you haven't got it on the Workstation/Server, then you'll surely find it inside the Windows NT resource Kit.
If again you do not have a copy of the resouce kit, then a visit microsoft's site and do a search on su.exe in the download/support section as there is more than likely to be a link to grab it!
Cheers,
