Hi,I've got a group of users that are not supposed to have internet access on thier pc's,they use a sql database that they access via IE and need use the same proxy server that we use for internet access. Is there any way to use a group policy that will give these clients access to the database and not have internet connectivity.(Eg.To connect to the internet I set my IE Proxy settings to 172.25.2.1:8080 which is also the default gateway,to connect to the sql database I type http://172.25.2.2 in the browser.)

I have a pc in my domain that I have restricted access to sites unless specified.
I have a windows 2003 server, the Group policy settings are under
User Configuration - Windows Settings -
Internet Explorer Maintenance - Security
There is a Security and Content Ratings section That allows you setup some content Ratings.
I block all sites unless the site is specified in the allowed sites list.
This works great for me It may help you
cheers
