RAR and other files open in IE upon Download.

Tried what you said and still nothing. I love my IE too...well what I will say...it's not the end of the world and I appreciate you trying mate. Thanks a lot.

However from what I can see it does seem to be some but not all the archive files; TAR, GZ and RAR, but ZIP is fine so it's not all WinRAR extensions.

If I do somehow find a solution to it i'll let you know, cheers again. Tra'

As I have to right click on files that open in IE and select Save As, I just noticed that the file type it saves it as is "Text Document"...if this helps? So it's basically treating RAR, TAR, GZ etc... as a ZIP file...and MSI.
