Windows2003Srv folder rights problem was created by beexo
Hello again!
I have a windows 2003 server R2 where I am administrator.
I have set it up where users are using raoming profiles. These are stored on a shared folder that I created on the server.
Some of the users are no longer necessary. Therefore I deleted the user and his personal folder. But I cannot delete his roaming profile (the folder on the server where the desktop, etc. is stored). Anything I try to do on these profile folders is dinied. I cannot delete, rename, view the contets etc.
This is a real big problem, as some users no longer active and that have already been deleted anre ocupying many GB of disk space with their profiles.
Any one got a sugestion on how to delete these folders, I appreciate it.

Hi
Have you tried taking ownership of those roaming profile folders on the server?
Once you establish that you shouldn't have any issues deleting them

Arani is correct. Here is a MS document on how to do so in 2003 server.
