the GUI repair option

I use same XP CD for GUI repairs on two different systems, on the first system , I got the option of GUI repair (R) and on the second I didnt why ?

Sose are u trying to fix explorer.exe? or a system file?

Tanimu surprised u answering my question when u were not the one that asked. oh ok ur one of Sose's student right. Which system file are we talking about here. and i hope u not mistaking a document, file, folder for system file... am talking of .ini, and may be lib files, etc???

sose, is the service pack on the CD (if any) the same version on the PC that did not work? If CD's SP version is older, this might be the reason. But I'm not sure.

yeah solo I also suspected the service pack difference
