does anyone know if there is software that will check for my current windows updates and apply them to a specific pc over my network as needed and where could i download them or purchase them.

you can use WSUS to download updates then apply it to your computer and that specific one on the network.

x2 on this, i just deployed WSUS on our network last week..it will do what your wanting
