The way that I've done it is to open the PC case and attach a HD to one controller and the HD to be backed up to a second controller. Boot into Ghost from a floppy or bootable CD and follow the prompts. Both HD should show in the menu so I used to fdisk the receiving one to remove the partitions. That way, it was obvious which was the receiving one and Ghost didn't give me the option of copying in the wrong direction (i.e. a blank disk to my precious data!).
