Creating MSI installer package was created by Stephanie
I want to update 3rd party software through my Windows Update Service server, but it looks like I need to use MSIs to do this. Does anyone have any good websites for learning how to do this. I have NO programming background so I need to start at square one.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Sorry for not directly answering your question but what kind of installer is it in?
Knowing how to make MSI packages is definitely a good skill to have, so without sounding as if I'm putting you on a different path to solving the problem, how do you know you specifically have to deploy it via MSI packages?

it is same situation like installing softwares through group policy, you have to chnage all .exe to .msi..
you can use Winsinstall LE www.appdeploy.com/downloads/detail.asp?id=4654

Hi Alans,
Thank you for the URL's I will take a look. I am looking to create MSI's for MS Office 2003, and some Adobe products at this time. We are still using Windows XP Pro as the OS on our workstations.
Again thanks for the information.
