Limit Concurrent Windows Logon Sessions was created by beexo
I have a network with a Windows 2003 Server as a domain. Have setup roaming profiles because users move around alot. But many times they login to more than one workstation at a time. Up to now I haven't had may problems with this setup. But as to avoid future problems, I would like to limit the logins to one workstation at a time (like in netware, etc.). The problem is that microsoft for some reason dit not implement this feature.
After searching the net, all I could find was two solutions that didn't satisfy me much.
The 1st one was the free "limitlogin" which seems to be very invasive to the AD and hard to implement.
The 2nd was the comercial "userlock". This one looks good (from what I read. Did not try it). The problem here is the cost.
So, has anyone used these or other solutions to overcome this missing functionality from MS Windows?
