Windows XP keeps restarting!!!

My PC keeps restarting , every few mins. I look in the event viewer , it has the error
The COM+ Event System failed to fire the ConnectionMade method on subscription {97B80994-0EC9-42FC-9AD6-506D3C2212A2}-{00000000-0000-0000-0000-000000000000}-{00000000-0000-0000-0000-000000000000}. The subscriber returned HRESULT 80004001.
Any idea's?? I have tried a clean reinstall but it still happen's. The temp is in the low 30's

Looks like there is something on startup which is causing the error. Usually it's Windows Messenger. Try booting up on Safe Mode, and disable it from starting at startup. Then restart and check for any difference

The COM+ Event System detected a bad return code during its internal processing. HRESULT was 8007043C from line 44 of d:\nt\com\com1x\src\events\tier1\eventsystemobj.cpp. Please contact Microsoft Product Support Services to report this error.

Let me get you right, so you reformatted and installed windows and the problem happens again just after the installation? or did you install some software after windows and after that it happened? If the latter is true, do you remember which software you installed?

Another thing, try uninstalling Windows Messenger.

Yes i have reformated, then installed XP pro. I have not loaded any software. I have uninstalled msm. I have checked the RAM etc is seated correctly. Still at a loss
