I can confirm that it's possible to have a dual boot system using Win95/98. In the worst case, if you're having problems with the two, you can use (as suggested) a boot manager like system commander which will help overcome any limitations of problems the dual partitions might cause.

I agree with the consensus to use a boot manager, I have used both boot managers as mentioned, both worked great. My two cents is even though you have a boot manager and every thing seems ducky, make sure you back up you data just the same. Even with third party boot managers they can fail, stopping you to gain access of the OS. What I have done was to have a shared partition between the two OS’s and place all important data on a FAT32 partition.
