secure FTP server

Hi,
We would like to install the secure FTP server (Filezilla) with a public IP on the "DMZ". The above will be connected to a switch to the Ethernet interface of a Cisco 2621 perimeter router. The FTP server has a management console that is suggested to not be installed on the FTP server. How and where is an appropriate place to install the management program to manage the FTP server? Any suggestions will be much appreciated.

Any PC which is able to communicate with the FTP Server. The admin interface is only required to change the server settings.

The Filezilla secure FTP server works on the local LAN with private IP. The FTP server now is on the DMZ with a public IP. The client computer on the LAN can not access the the Filezilla FTP server. There seems to be initial connection looking at the server's log. Would you be able to trouble shoot ? Thanks. The following is from the server's log.

Interesting, I just noticed that my private IP on the LAN is logged. The FTP sits with public IP on a switch connected to an Ethernet interface on the router. Technically, private IPs can not be routed. Nat is not being performed. I am perplexed.

Can you clarify how many FTP servers you've actually got?
