Hello,
Recently I am facing a very strange probelm on few XP/SP2 PCs in my network.
.If the PC is shut down at 20:30Hrs.
.When it is turned on next day it starts with the date and time it is shutdown at (i.e 2030Hrs)
I have changed the CMOS Battery.
Also tried disabling WindowsTimeService.
But the problem still exists
For the time being i am using the following software to keep correct time
www.download.com/Atomic-Clock-Sync/3000-...05.html?tag=pdp_prod
Has any one faced this kind of problem ??
Any help is appriciated.
Regards

Wow that's unusual. I've never seen that before!
Are all the time settings in Windows and the BIOS correct and "as standard"? If you go straight into the BIOS when you turn the machine on instead of letting Windows load up, does the correct date/time appear in the BIOS or is it wrong there too? That will at least tell us if there's a hardware problem
