Hi there
I think I know why it is happening;
A person left the company and his account was renamed for his successor - but then they realized they will need that account so the new person can have access to his predessor emails.
The person who left, account was recreated - badly I guess.
I'm guessing this is the reason why this is happening.
But, how do you change it?
I think I have no choice but to back everything up and create a new account for the new user.
Take care.

By Nicknames do you mean the Alias ?
If you go into Active Directory Users and Computers (The Exchange Version, NOT the AD Version). You will see the additional exchange tabs. The Alias is controlled through the "Exchange General" tab.
Hope it helps

Hello again
I check that first, but it was the same name as the new user.
I tried disablelling the account then re-abling it but I still got the same.
It just got me thinking - why does it do that. I got all the updates and everything.
Anyway, I'm going to try and renaming another account with a new name and then create a new account with the old name and see if it does it again.
Once again, thanks for the response.
