gpedit enabling

my gpedit has been disabled by a virus i think. i have gone to Regedit but could nt fine exactly where it is so i can enable it, info from anyone??????

What is the message that pops to you when you run gpedit.msc ?

1st take care of the suspected virus problem, then if you want an alternative way to get to gpedit, go to Start>Run, type "mmc," then add the gpedit snap-in.
