RDP in Windows Xp

Hello,

Recently after installing my Windows Xp i faced a strange prob. I cudnt find the Remote Desktop connections under Accessories>Communication. On typing mstsc under Run it gives"windows cannot find mstsc. make sure you typed the name correctly". I tried reinstalling the rdc package seperately and the installion fails sayin tat rdc is inbuilt with my current OS. Now tats strange isnt??? One says u don ve it and other says it has detected one already in built in the Win Xp OS!!!!!!! I am the administrator user of the comp.

Can anybody throw some lite.

Yea... its wen i try to install the rdp package u said it gives an error sayin tat the OS has rdp in built with it!!!!

Now wat do i do???

If you do Start --> Run --> %SystemRoot%\System32\mstsc.exe --> Ok

What happens ?

Guess you have windowsx64

I dont know or try any old version of te terminal services client

well i had already tried tat smurf but dint work .

Had to re install the OS.. Now its working well n fine..

Maybe i ll have to die not knowing y it happened!!!!!!
