I work as a Network QA Engineer with 2.5 years of experience. My job involves developing test case for Network protocol testing like BGP, RSVP-TE and also executing the same. For the last 1 year im involved in testing features like MPLS and VPLS. Next month I was planning to do CCIP certification, since much of the technology I am working is related CCIP topics. But one of my friend said that it would of no use for a QA engineer to do CCIP certification as it is helpful for people in designing and troubleshooting networks, basically who are in TAC . So my questions are
1. Should I persue my CCIP certification and continue as QA engineer. Also what are the benefits.
OR
2. Should I change my profession from QA to TAC and do my certification.
Any suggestion would be very helpful.
