LAN problem for LAPTOP users: was created by sujo
Server we are running is SBS 2003. 10 Users are under the domain and two Laptop users are in a WorkGroup. Other than wired switches, we have one Wireless Access Point in our network. So Latop users using two NICs one is wired and other one is Wireless. Both NICs getting IP address from SBS 2003 DHCP server.
Problem:
For them, Internet connection is working properly, but LAN connection is slow and sometimes they couldn't connect to other LAN users.
Please help me to solve the problem.

Just curious as to what protocals are installed on the NIC cards for the two Laptops that are connected to the Lan? Is this just a work group set or do you have some type of AD (Active Directory) Setup to authinticate users?

I think you should disable wireless NIC or Wired NIC. Only use one NIC at a time to prevent conflict.

yes you should try to connect laptops via one nic only and not connect them to the network using both interfaces. by the way, are the subnet range for both the wired and wireless ip address the same or different? these may introduce network problems like broadcast storms, routing problems, etc. to the network, specifically to the mobile users such as those using the laptops. you could try and isolating the problem by turning one nic of each laptop and testing network functionality.
