RRAS service stops when APC Smart UPS in battery mode was created by sujo
We are using SBS 2003 with 2 NIC card, one for LAN and other for Internet (connected to Hardware Router).
RRAS works as LAN router. When power goes off, UPS starts running in battery mode. During that time RRAS service stops.

Is the rest of your infrastructure on a UPS ? i.e. If your interface that the RRAS is utilising ends up being disconnected because the switch/router has powered off, could this not cause the issue ?
Also we had some issues with the UPS Software slowing down our server (100% CPU utilisation), this was caused because the version of the UPS Software from APC utilised a certificate and the certificate expired. We had to install the latest version to get around this one, this could also be an avenue worth persuing also.
Hope it helps
