Packet Tracer 3.2 problems was created by Phruis
I'm having some issues using Packet Tracer 3.2. I know it seems straight forward Install flash and it will work. The thing is I've installed flash..uninstalled flash..installed version 7 (old version) and nothing works. I get a Flash.ocx error file missing or invalid. Even though I have two computers and it runs on the other just fine.
How does one usually go about fixing a problem like this?

looks like your flash installation is the main culprit. but also try reinstalling packet tracer unless you have already done so. you can also go to the macromedia flash site and install the latest plugin and that should install a standard version of flash which the packet tracer can use. let us know how it went

I've uninstalled packet tracer a gazillion times while trying different versions or copies of Flash. I'm really stumped the only thing I noticed in comparision to PC1, the computer that actually runs PT is Flash shows up in its "Add/Remove Programs" while PC2 doesn't. I can still play Flash files no problem, but maybe this could be some sort of registry problem?

Hello can you give this try
open windows Explorer and navigate
C:\WINDOWS\system32\Macromed\Flash
or up one folder . I thik there might be two versions of macromedia and there ise a registry corruptin . Inside Flash directory there is an installer. run it and give a try reinstallin Pt. Or a more drastic way delete flash directory and reinstall PT.
