Stopping access to control panel in XP

I dont really hope they wud deploy a server ... all this is client specific and the clients are not willing

gpedit.msc is working just fine ... thanx to you guys

have you guys worked on sun's star office ?
does someone know how the integrated desktop feature be disabled in it ?
