I'm not 100% sure I'm right, but in C:\Windows\system32 there are two files: route.exe, and routetab.dll. Of course, Windows experts please add anything that I may have missed.

I'm no expert myself but the most common way to edit the route table is by using the ROUTE command. For start using the ROUTE PRINT command will show the routing table which you can then alter by using ROUTE ADD or ROUTE DELETE.

yes berzerker is right. the command is route, and i would advise you to go through the help file first before trying something on your computer.
you can invoke the help file by typing:
route/?
and then press the return key
